Abstract :
A novel compact bandstop filter (BSF) based on signal interference technique is presented in this paper. The designed structure consists of two bilateral transmission lines and one central series capacitor. Bandwidth and rejection level of the filter can be controlled by changing the circuit parameters. The equivalent model and a set of analytical formulas for the design of the new BSFs are provided. Theoretical analysis and experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the structure and verify the excellent performance.
