Abstract :
In the ballistic missile defence system, multifunction radars search enemy targets with the support of space-based satellites. This paper proposes a novel optimal searching scheduling algorithm.. Its flows can be described as follows. Immediately detecting the enemy targets, radar samples position and speed in the area where the target may be fall in. Furthermore, by projecting those samples set onto the radar sinusoidal panel and referring to its probability distribution can we determine radar beam irradiation orientation. The detection results can be utilized to update prior probability about samples. The above process can be treated as just one recursive step in the whole algorithm flow. Not only the previous problem that it is difficult to gain analytic computation about projection of target error sphere onto sinusoidal panel but also how dynamic matching between the projection area and high speed is realized is answered convincingly. The simulation shows the new algorithm is effective in term of improving the searching ability about radar.
