Abstract :
Event Data Recorder (EDR) records a large number of automotive information in the accident process, has become an important means of accident reconstruction and data sources in the developed countries. This article describes the event data recorder (EDR) works and time and frequency parameters of the sample, analysis EDR data error from the perspective of accident reconstruction, should pay attention to the EDR data applications in Traffic Accident Reconstruction. The results show that, EDR data for simple and accurate accident reconstruction, but in some cases, additional information should be comprehensive accident reconstruction.
