Abstract :
This paper presents a method for analyzing the probabilistic behavior of the randomly varying harmonic currents produced by distribution system loads. First a probabilistic model of some distribution system loads is developed. Then, the probability density function of the summation of the real and imaginary components of the harmonic currents is formulated. Simulation results are presented and discussed.
