Abstract
A behavioral model of an analog voltage comparator is presented. This model consists of a set of nonlinear differential equations. There is no restriction on the means by which the model equations are derived. As an illustration, the equations are derived from an intermediate representation of the original comparator. Simulation comparisons between the actual circuit and the behavioral model show good agreement (typically within 10%) for transient response parameters
