Abstract
A slight different kind of radial stub is presented in this work which is, basicaly, a triangular taper on the planar transmission line being used (e.g. microstrip, stripline, etc.). Its shape is an isosceles triangle (as the Greek letter "delta"). The simplification on its contour was made just to allow the synthesis method to be iterative in nature. The "delta" dimensions are evaluated from the desired reactance, the angle "¿", the frequency and the substrate parameters. (see fig. 1). Some practical results and applications are also presented.
