Abstract :
This paper addresses a technical and economic study of the opportunities provided by the storage facilities in LV networks planning. Without having to reinforce the existing network, three economic models of storage are studied in order to assess the possible increase in renewable integration. The simulations are conducted on a test network derived from a real LV distribution network. It is a three-phase network with distributed neutral. It has one feeder, 12 buses, 11 lines, and an MV/LV transformer (50kVA). The connected load in this network is 42 kW. The three scenarios have shown a particular technical interest: large increase in DG rate and reduction of losses. However, to be economically beneficial, all services provided by the storage must be monetized.
