Abstract :
This paper discusses the content and structure, design characteristic of "the Tourist Atlas of Shanxi Province". The format, projection and scale, compilation of various types maps, technical route are also described. The atlas has important guiding significance to promote tourism, tourism plan and industrial restructuring of Shanxi Province. As China\´s first large tourist atlas of province, the atlas has important reference value for other provinces and cities to design and compilation tourist atlas.
