Abstract :
The characteristics of JPEG2000 compression stream and calculation method to conclude the best channel coding based on channel features and coding method were studied by this paper. By analyzing the different impact of error to JPEG2000 compression stream, we get the distortion mode of JPEG2000. For a given bit rate, we give the relationship between distortion of JPEG2000 and channel bit error rate under different channel coding. So a channel coding method could be chosen adaptive. The results show that: the channel coding scheme selected adaptive by the proposed algorithm matches well with the simulation results.
