Abstract :
A two-stage GaAs IC low noise amplifier has been developed to cover the 7-11 GHz frequency range, which encompasses both the 7.25-7.75 GHz satellite downlink band and the 9-10 GHz radar band. This paper will describe the design, layout and measured performance of this circuit, including the variation in its gain and noise figure with temperature.
