Abstract
The principles of time domain analysis (TDA) using network analyser data and a fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm will be described. Two methods of simulating a time domain step response, which can be used in a TDA system, will be compared. Examples of the transformation of simulated and measured frequency domain data to illustrate the possiblities of the TDA system will be given.
