Abstract :
According to characteristics of Lambertian light sources, optical model of conical lens has been designed for UHB-LED in this paper. Modeling and simulation of conical lens has been conducted and parameters have been optimized with Tracepro. Based on the simulation results, an optimizing design is achieved. The conical lens has simple structure, compact size and low cost. It can be widely used in low-cost medical lighting industry for UHB-LED.
