Abstract :
This paper is the report of research work in which the well known thermoelectric materials (Bi, Pb and Te) are investigated as the thermo generator elements. The pallets Bi2Te3, Pb2Te3 and Bi2Pb3 are prepared by 15mm solution and then studied for the generation of thermo emf in the normal mode in the temperature range of 1900C. Similar performance of each of the pallet is also carried out under the effect of applied electric field (corresponding to 4V, 8V and 12V potential differences) in the same temperature range. Hence this is a report in which semiconducting pallets are considered as the energy conversion elements; not only in normal conditions but also in the diverse conditions of available or applied electric field for better performances.
