Abstract :
According to the character of dim small target in infrared image, a new enhancement algorithm is presented in this paper. At first the infrared image background is suppressed by setting a threshold, then both gray density and gray interval of histogram are equalized. This algorithm has small calculation, excellent image enhancing and real-time performance.
