Abstract :
A method for evaluation of consumer´s risks as one of characteristics of product competitiveness is proposed. The degree of the risk is determined as product of three estimations: the parameter of defect occurrence, the parameter of severity of defect consequences for the consumer and the parameter of possibility of finding a defect during manufacturing supervision. The methods of consumer´s risk analysis are universal and can be applied in any branch of industry.
