Abstract :
This paper studies the bit-error-rate (BER) performance of 16QAM and 16PSK that are incorporated three pipeline pilot-symbol-aided (PSA) algorithms over mobile radio channels. The distinct advantages of these pipeline PSA algorithms are simple implementation and require no storage element for the received data symbols, which are essential for many real-time multimedia applications. Computer simulation results have shown that these pipeline PSA algorithms are effective in land-mobile and satellite-mobile channels.
