Abstract :
In this paper, we discuss a method to obtain a high torque in a standing-wave-type ultrasonic motor. We devised a screw-shaped ultrasonic motor. Three bolt-clamped Langevin type longitudinal vibration transducers (BLTs) were installed in the shape of a screw in order to produce removal rotor and boost rotor power. The vibration and load characteristics of the motor were measured.
