Abstract
In this paper, a computationally efficient jamming technique is developed for spectrally efficient communication system and the comparison is made with the jamming technique for power efficient communication system. Various aspects of jamming from the viewpoint of modulation techniques and its effect on the performance of communication system due to processed jamming versus unprocessed jamming are analysed. Comparison of computational complexities for proposed jamming algorithms for power and spectrally efficient communication systems is determined. Performance comparison for processed jamming versus unprocessed jamming is also presented. Finally, jamming philosophy for software communication architecture based software defined radios is also discussed.
