Abstract :
This paper describes a preliminary work in the analysis of asymmetries in digitized mammograms. A program has been developed to first register then bilaterally subtract two mammograms of the left and right breast in the medio-lateral view to enhance asymmetries. These asymmetries are then analyzed in order to provided a tool for computer aided diagnosis
