Abstract :
Microscopic image analysis is fundamental to many research areas. The procedures for analyzing micrographs are usually time consuming and laborious. A computer program has been developed to aid quantification of damage in the Z bands and counting mitochondria in electron micrographs of muscle tissues. This software has been developed in Visual C++ and runs on the PC platform under WIN9x or WINNT
