Abstract
We describe the segmentation of the urethra from the Visible Female Cryosectioned Dataset (VFCD). The segmentation strategy employs a near-Gibbsian classification of the VFCD, followed by volumetric smoothing of the resultant point sets which are subsequently polyhedralized by an isosurface extraction algorithm
