Abstract :
Channelization algorithm for multistandard SDR requires reconfigurable Filter bank techniques for non uniform channelization. Several approaches were developed to implement reconfigurable filter structure to obtain non uniform band signals. The frequency response masking (FRM) based filter bank and coefficient decimation (CD) based filter bank, which can offer a good trade-off between reconfigurability and low complexity and satisfy most of the requirements for SDR receivers. This paper proposed a method of filter bank technique which is easily reconfigurable compared to the existing filter banks this method improves the frequency response of the filter. Software-defined radio system can be built and analysed via the Lab VIEW graphical programming environment [12] to design the low complexity and flexible architecture for multi standard applications.
