  • Abstract
A person who suffers from Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome suffers pain when touched or when touching an item. Simple acts like turning on a light can cause pain. Heat sensitivity is also an issue. The iRemote system utilizes radio frequency technology to control the lights, lamps, thermostat, and the locking and unlocking of the user´s front door, thus eliminating the user´s pain when manipulating these devices. The iRemote also includes a digital thermostat that allows the user to manage house temperature effectively
