  • Abstract
The mechanism of the acceleration effects on the one-dimensional airflow level posture sensor was explained. Using the finite element method, the temperature field and the flow field in the sensitive element of the sensor under the effects on the different accelerations were calculated by a series of procedure, such as building model, meshing, applying loads and solving. The simulation result and experiment information show that the input acceleration effect on the one-dimensional airflow level posture sensor is analogous to the effect on the input tilt angle of the sensor. It will also change to the airflow velocity difference at two heat sources, and it lead to change to the current difference at two hotwires. Finally, the bridge outputs a voltage signal with corresponding to the acceleration.
