Abstract :
The Learning Aide, acting as a computer interface, provides a means of communication via auditory and screen prompts between an autistic child and his teachers and caregivers. Users can send recorded messages to the Learning Aid via a remote recorder or a standard computer voice recognition program. Messages can be heard from the computer or the remote recorder over a speaker built into the Learning Aide
