Abstract :
Based on the MTO, the delivery quantity model is studied under the condition of multiple transportation modes for container. For the multiple transportation modes, the first shipment must be delivered by the fastest transportation mode and the rest shipment can be delivered by economical transportation modes to reduce the total cost of buyer and supplier. In the numerical example, the shipment of container is optimized under the condition of multiple transportation modes. Compared with single transportation mode, the better solution is obtained with multiple transportation modes.
