Abstract :
High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) are the result of a multitude of intentional and non-intentional electromagnetic sources that currently exists in the world. HIRF sources include radio and TV transmitters, airport and weather radar, and various military systems, both ground-based and airborne. In this paper Fixed Wing Severe, Certification and Normal Environments that civil fixed wing airplanes may be exposed to while operating are presented.
