Abstract
The author looks at meter reading and standardisation using integrated communication metering systems. Direct local reading using the ZVEI protocol is also discussed. Readout of a load profile using a TARIGYR 600 with hand terminal, a TARIGYR 600 with TARICOM modem, and a TARIGYR 400 with data over voice telephone channel is presented
