Abstract :
The RF transmitter architecture for mobile communication necessitates high efficiency for long battery time. There are several highly efficient transmitter architectures including EER/polar transmitters. In this paper, we present the EER/polar transmitter based on the high efficiency envelope amplifier and delta-sigma modulator based envelope control circuit; hybrid-EER transmitter and the DeltaSigma-digitized polar transmitter.
