Abstract
Urbanization is a necessary requirement and result for industrial development. The urban land intensive use is a natural way for urban development. Land use and urban development interacts. This paper selected the perspective of a reasonable quantitative evaluation of land intensive use and the comprehensive level of urbanization of Korla City, analyzing the relationship between the two systems. According to the results of the coordination evaluation, we discuss the approach to the harmonization of land use and urban development and want to promote land intensive use and sustainable development in the arid region.
