  • Abstract
    With the rapid development in high brightness LED technology, the brightness LED is going to be more and more attractive for the commercial and residential lighting application in the near future. This paper proposed a simple precise passive current balancing method based on the improved capacitive scheme. It also can be extended for the application of isolated multi-output LED drivers. Both the macro model simulation and the prototype experiment results demonstrate the feasibility of using this proposed passive method to achieve precise balancing in steady state and dynamic state even with the considerably different peripheral parameters.
