Abstract :
Ocean wave energy-harvester has important significance for energy supply of the ocean wireless sensor networks. In this paper, a type of drag board point wave energy converter is designed. Simulation result shows that the relative displacement is generated between the float and the drag board. The pack and pinion is used to transform super-low-frequency linear motion into low-frequency rotary motion. Based on non-contact frequency increased principle, a novel rotary piezoelectric generator is designed. Simulation result shows that the response frequency and the output power of this novel rotary piezoelectric generator can be increased with a non-contact permanent magnet structure. The results of this study demonstrate that the super-low-frequency wave energy can be harvested by the novel wave energy rotary piezoelectric generator designed in this paper.
