Abstract :
This paper presents modeling and control of an electric vehicle based on second order sliding mode control using super twisting algorithm. This algorithm allows reducing the chattering phenomenon that appears in a classical sliding mode control. Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed control method for current and speed control.
