Abstract :
In a reverse process to antenna analysis we have tried here to enumerate various methods that can be used to determine input distribution based on given radiation pattern. This can be done either by source amplitude or phase control and controlling element spacing. Further we wish to throw some light on performance enhancement even when element spacing is reduced. When in order to keep fix aperture we sometimes have to put the antenna elements close to each other than half wavelength. It is surprising to note that even in reduced spacing with some kind of distribution the array behaves well. The craving desire of engineers to go for super directive array forces researchers to study various polynomial distributions. We are discussing here Tschebyscheff polynomial method which is quite optimum for super directive or super gain design. This method absorbs most problems due to element space reduction and hence is very much useful when we wish to design antenna that will give good directivity.
