Study on the application of virtual Sun Island tourist route based on Google Earth

With the rapid development and wide application of information visualization technology and WebGIS technology, the virtual tour develop by using information technology has become a key technology of today´s tourism industry. In particular, the emergence and development of Google Earth provides a new tool and platform for tourism resources development and application. This paper takes the navigation system construction of Harbin Sun Island tourist routes as example It discusses the develop ideas and methods of virtual tour routes through embedded in Google Earth.
