Abstract :
A fin-line structure. filled with a waveguide abstract not going over the full height of the waveguide has been investigated. A theoretical model allows to predict the dependence of the field displacement effect on both, ferrite height and thickness. Thus, the optimal values for the design of nonreciprocal fin-line devices can be obtained. Experiments, carried out in X-band and E-band show excellent agreement with theory.
