Abstract :
This paper is a study of P.R.C. modern architecture conservation regulation system and implementation strategy. In theory, the conservation of excellent modern architecture is mainly under three regulation systems , "Law of the People\´s Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics", "Ancient Cities, Towns and Villages Protection Regulations" and "the Guidance on the Strengthening Protection of Urban Excellent Modern Architecture in Urban Planning" in P.RC. Despite a certain system of protection is formed, there are still some deficiencies in Chinese excellent modern architecture conservation and management, like the structural problem caused by the three regulation systems, the incomplete correspondence of specific policy and protection and negative public participation. To put forward some suggestions, this paper advocates a clear positioning, regulatory regimes and a positive public participation policy. It also provides references for the conservation planning related to modern architecture.
