Abstract
Water shortage of the basin is the key reason of ecological damage, environmental degradation and area reduction for the wetlands. How to repair the destroyed wetlands ecosystem and how to maintain the ecological balance of wetlands is still the important subject which is worth to study. This article, taking Xianghai wetlands as an example, determines a water supplement scheme using the way of inter-basin water transfer according to current situation. In the course of the study, we determine the basic principle of water supplement according to the purpose of ecological water transfer, and successively analyze a series of problems which include water supplement source, water supplement route, water supplement volume; water supplement time and water supplement ways. The study has effectively improved the water source utilization with less economic cost, solve the problem of ecological water demand for Xianghai wetlands, avoid the wetlands from area reduction, and protects the ecosystem of Xianghai wetland.
