  • Abstract
For fast realistic simulations of parasitic effects on boards, a novel “parasitic-effects simulator” has been developed at the FhG-IFT in Munich. The tool divides the circuit to be simulated into line systems and network parts. Compared to the original network, the network parts feature a reduced complexity and are computed by conventional network simulators (SPICE, ELDO, etc.). The line systems in between are simulated by a transmission line simulator especially conceived for this purpose
