Abstract :
A Hilbert transformer is discussed with emphasis on instantaneous spectrum signal processing, through its circuitry configuration, fast processing algorithm, and frequency responses. This ST-DFT (short-time discrete Fourier transform) Hilbert transformer can obtain a precision equal to the existing Rabiner pre-optimized minmax one in both phase shifting and rapidity of transient response. The Hilbert transformer can be used in reducing spectrum occupancy in radiocommunication
