Analysis on the causes why the extensive growth mode exist for a long time in China

This paper calculated the total factor productivity of our country from 1991 to 2009 with Solow model and found that the extensive growth mode of our country was not changed but strengthened after the "Ninth Five Year Planning". After analyzing the causes that made the extensive growth mode exist for a long time in our country, this paper pointed out that deepening the economic integration among provinces of our country may promote the changeover of economic growth mode.
