Abstract
This paper presents an approach to allow the secure delegation of specific tasks in geoprocessing workflows to distributed services across enterprise borders. Foremost, a definition of the term geoprocessing workflow is given. On this basis, the structure of a delegation token is introduced which takes the special requirements of Geospatial web services into account. A special focus is led on flexibility and integration into mainstream IT architectures and the OGC Web service world.
