Abstract
Due to lack of effective trust management mechanism, a lot of deceptive behaviors exist in Peer-to-Peer (P2P) e-commerce environments, which seriously damage the correctness and availability of the systems. This paper proposes a novel P2P trust model IVTM (Interest Vector based Trust Model) which considers the impact of peer¿s different interests, deal time and transaction amounts in trust assessment. This model uses time slice to portray the time character of experience and recommendation, and figures up transaction amounts and deal time to scale the peer´s trustworthiness. For evaluating the recommendations reliability, IVTM makes use of the similarity of interests with askers. Theoretic analysis and simulation show that, IVTM outperforms existing mechanisms, and can be effectively applied to P2P e-commerce systems.
