Abstract
The transmission line parameters are of importance for signal propagation, and, the characteristic of these parameters will be represented as temperature-dependence due to the effect from the change of ambient temperature. So of particular interest in the paper is to establish an effective extracting method for transmission parameters, and the development and validation of compact FDTD models are suitable to analyze the response of shield cable under the sine excitation. The conducted shielded cable is evaluated considering as source a known injected voltage on the cable conductor, and the coupling with electromagnetic field, respectively. It is shown that the temperature-dependent parameters bring more important responses on the terminal of circuit network containing certain deviation. For the first time, the results of the paper are shown for the lossy transmission cable with temperature-dependent parameters characteristic, and time domain model (FDTD) with linear terminations is then discussed and used to quantify the main practical engineering.
