  • Abstract
The problem of evaluating transient operation port-voltages of a multiterminal black-box linear network connected to another linear network (with sources) and to a nonlinear element (once numerical integration of the system differential equations has provided voltage and current at the nonlinear one-port) is addressed. Using polynomial congruence algebra, the authors have solved the problem of evaluating output variables of a multiport black-box circuit, as an algebraic function of nonlinear integration variables (voltage and current of the active one-port) and source signals. The simple numerical algorithms required for the analysis make the method particularly suited for automatic implementation in CAD programs
