Abstract :
Microwave scattering from land is studied by using coherent X-band radar and digital processing system. The main statistical characteristics of the backscatter at low grazing angles from different land surfaces are given. Experimental data such as Doppler spectra and probabilty distributions are fitted for same analytical shapes.
