Abstract :
BiCMOS processing provides the key to a new integrated PWM controller which offers higher switching frequencies at lower quiescent current drain while including new innovations in both performance and protection features. Its versatility is demonstrated with the description of a 50 W, wide input voltage off-line inverter and a 48-to-5 V DC/DC power converter, both of which feature efficiencies above 80 percent under a wide range of operating conditions
