Abstract :
Stability (with temperature and power supply voltage variations) of the oscillation frequency of an ECL-based multivibrator is considered. This circuit is a nonsaturated multivibrator. Its operation is revised, and an exact expression for calculation of the oscillation frequency F/sub 0/ is obtained. The f/sub 0/ temperature coefficient and f/sub 0/ sensitivity to the power supply voltage are derived. The results were verified experimentally. Recommendations on the choice of external components are given.<>
