  • Abstract
    In the last years, the alternative energy resources and the fuel cell based distributed generation (DG) system applications have attracted increased interest. This paper investigates a doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) wind turbine and a Fuel Cell (FC) based DG system. The modeling and the control of a hybrid DFIG WT/FC system are presented. The system configuration and the characteristics of the main components are given and the power management strategy for the proposed system is presented. The simulation tests are performed using Matlab/Simulink and the results are presented and analyzed.
