Abstract :
Embedded workflow engine map actions to sequences of Web screens. Client-side technologies such as AJAX enhance the user experience of Web applications. In this paper we present WERCCS, a framework for workflow enabled reusable components on the client-side. WERCCS combines the best of server-side embedded workflow ideas with AJAX client-side processing to distribute lightweight process capabilities to the browser.
